The coffee shop, opened in
1996, has fresh, home made cakes every day, a hot meal of the day,
coffee, and a selection of teas. There is an attractive garden with
picnic tables outside. Thaxters is popular both
with locals and people from places as far as Peterborough and Leicester who either visit regularly
or have holiday homes in the area.
